Performative Material Workshop about radical care and listening

Our Garden is a collaborative, performative making process that explores the relationship between body, material, and space through the triangular form as its point of departure. During the workshop, participants work with a variety of materials and techniques—including textiles, ceramics, cardboard, and their own bodies as tools for sensing and shaping space.
At the core of the programme are shared attention, presence, and the practice of radical care and listening. Rather than focusing on the creation of a final object, the workshop emphasizes the process through which individual and collective perception, movement, and material engagement become interconnected.
The triangular form represents connection: the relationships between people, bodies, materials, and elements of nature. It also refers to the shapes and structures of the green spaces within the site where the programme takes place. Throughout the workshop, plants and plant forms appear as organic sources of inspiration and starting points for sensory exploration.
The workshop functions as an imaginary journey—a process of reconnecting with ourselves and with the state in which, as children, we had not yet separated ourselves from nature. Through collective making, perception, intuition, and dialogue with materials come to the foreground, creating the possibility for a slower, more attentive, and more connected creative experience.
